From August 1, 2024, Vietnam Railways Corporation has officially opened a payment gateway for international cards issued by foreign banks through the VNPAY payment gateway. Foreign visitors can easily book tickets directly and pay abroad, without going through an agent.

From August 20, 2024, Vietnam Railways Corporation will connect and sell train tickets through Google Pay, Samsung Pay, Apple Pay e-wallets so that customers, especially international visitors, can easily buy tickets online and pay by bank card.

During this time, VNR installs automatic train ticket vending machines at domestic tourist destinations such as: Nha Trang City Post Office, Ho Chi Minh City Post Office, Da Lat Station, Quang Nam Province Tourist Support Center Office, Hoi An City.
