The Vietnamese railway industry is striving to make itself more appealing to investors to serve its future development plans. Vu Anh Minh, chairman of Vietnam Railways, the state-owned operator of all railways in the country, discussed the plan to seek foreign strategic partners and the neccesary specified incentives to leverage private investment with VIR's Bich Thuy.  

On September 28th, 2015, Vietnam Railways and Hanoi Telecom signed a memorandum of cooperation to develop online utility services called Railway Box. 

After a period of positive negotiation and get the approval of the Ministry of Transport, Vietnam Railways and IndoTran (ITL) held the signing ceremony of socialization investment Railways Logistics Center - Yen Vien Station (Hanoi) on September 16th, 2015.
